According to Lt. Gen. Rath Sreang, Commander of the Phnom Penh Municipal Gendarmerie, Sok Sovann Vathana Sabung AKA William Guang, leader of the Khmer Rise political party, has confessed being the ringleader of an armed gang that robbed

Mr Guang – a businessman and property developer – is no stranger to controversy, having been charged with defamation in 2018.

The robbery happened at 10:50 AM on December 19, 2021 at Villa V01 in Kork Chambok Village, Choam Chao Sangkat. 1 Khan Por Senchey, Phnom Penh.

According to the police

in Po Sen Chey district, the victim and her family of 10 people, including 4 boys, 3 girls and 3 children were preparing to leave for their home to Kampong Speu province.
